The tournament, which is being hosted by Vernon Racquetball Association runs February 7 and 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second selection event of the 2024 \/ 2025 season for high performance athletes from across Canada who are competing for national and international team placement. Results from the event will be used to determine the teams representing Canada at the 2025 Chengdu World Games and the 2025 Pan American Championships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection event matches will be live-streamed on Racquetball Canada&#8217;s Facebook Page and YouTube Channel beginning Friday afternoon. Racquetball Canada welcomes back former elite national team member Paul Shanks and former junior national team member Mckenzie Brayley to our livestream team for the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Links to all social channels can be found at the bottom of this email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Winter National Team Selection Event<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>20 competitors from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Qu\u00e9bec; including those playing at the elite level, as well as junior age players.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most of Canada&#8217;s national team and top ranked athletes will be competing, including the 2024 Men&#8217;s Doubles World Champions, <a href=\"https:\/\/racquetballmb.ca\/webinar-series-posters-2-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Coby Iwaasa<\/a> and <a href=\"\/?p=1720\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Samuel Murray<\/a> as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/racquetballmb.ca\/?p=1722\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Lambert<\/a>, Canada&#8217;s reigning Women&#8217;s Open National Champion in singles and doubles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>British Columbia competitors include top ranked BC athlete David Serra of Kelowna and Anthony Schonberger of Surrey.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The tournament is open to spectators free of charge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>February 7 and 8, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Play begins at 11:00 am (Pacific Time) on Friday February 7.
