Leyton Gouldie has been steadily progressing towards a top podium finish at the junior national level, culminating in a gold medal in the 18U Boys’ Singles division at the 2024 championships. Throughout his career, Gouldie has reached the podium nine times at the junior national level. His breakthrough came in 2022 when he won silver in the Boys’ U16 Singles division at the National Championships, earning his first spot on the Junior National team. Later that year, Gouldie secured a bronze medal in Boys’ 16U Doubles at the Junior World Championships. In 2023, Gouldie competed in his first Open championship event at the National Championships, finishing in fifth place. In 2024, he was named to an elite national team for the first time, earning a spot on the 2024/2024 national development team. Gouldie has also been the reigning Manitoba provincial champion in his age division since he was nine years old.
